Academy Awards will be held in March 2025. At the moment the sweep is going on. Around 89 songs and 146 background music have been selected from around the world. There is a song by singer Iman Chakraborty. In that sense, this is the first time that a song by a Bengali singer has been included in the Oscar race. The song 'Iti Ma' from the film 'Putul' directed by Indira Dhar Mukherjee has made it to the list.
Iman has already been named among the best singers in the country.
