Actress and model Ayesha Khan came to notice from season 17 of the popular reality show 'Bigg Boss'. She has already made her name on telescreen. Recently in an interview she shared the bitter experience of sexual harassment on the streets of Mumbai. In Ayesha's words, "Even in 2024, a girl is not safe. She has to endure many insults on the streets.”
In this interview, Ayesha mentioned three incidents. Where obscene comments are made on seeing her again and again. In Ayesha's words, "I was shooting a model. I had to wear a net dress. And it was said that underwear should not be worn inside that dress. As I objected at first, I was told. Madhuri Dixit also wore it. If you don't do that, you'll never be a star!”
Ayesha also said, "One day I was going to work by auto. Suddenly the driver told me that someone is following me. Suddenly I saw a bike coming next to my auto. A young man sitting behind the bike reached out and wants to touch my body. I screamed."
In this interview, Ayesha also mentions another incident. Ayesha said, "then I live in Malad. One afternoon in front of my flat I went down to eat. Suddenly a middle-aged person came to me and said, Wow.. Your breasts are very beautiful! I was shocked by what the man said." Says Ayesha, “Just because we are in the film industry doesn't mean we have to put up with it. We girls really feel so helpless sometimes.”
