Paoli Dam has started shooting for a new web series. A bunch of actors from Tolywood are acting in this series called 'Gutipoka'.
The number of women-centric web series in Bengal is increasing. This time another series is going to be added to the list. Paoli Dam is playing the lead role in this series. The shooting of the series directed by Sauvik Kundu has already started. 
The name of the series is 'Gutipoka'. According to sources, Paoli is playing the role of a woman who is a victim of domestic violence in this series. She is a teacher by profession. Basically the story revolves around the relationship between a teacher and a student. But the story of the series will progress on how the character played by Paoli, who is apparently timid, turns around under the pressure of the situation. A source from the unit said, "The series will depict the story of a woman's flight from a caterpillar to a butterfly."
Apart from Paoli, a number of stars are acting in this series. Biyas Dhar plays Paoli's student. Apart from this, Saurabh Chakraborty, Chandan Sen, Shankar Debnath, Falguni Chattopadhyay, Bidipta Chakraborty, Tanhik Banerjee, Shinjini Chakraborty etc. are acting in various roles. Sourav plays the role of Paoli's husband. The makers have not yet made an official announcement about the series. This is going to be Sauvik's first web series.
For now, the working title of the series is 'Gutipoka'. However, the name may change later. The shooting of the series is supposed to be completed this week. The release date of the series is yet to be finalised.
Paoli has recently completed the shooting of a web series called 'Julie'. He played the role of a politician in that series.
