Veteran Bollywood actor Dr. Shreeram Lagoo is dead. Dr. Shreeram Lagoo was 92 and suffering from old age diseases.
Dr. Shreeram Lagoo worked in over 100 Hindi films and more than 40 Marathi movies and Gujarati films and plays. His role as Ganpatrao aka Appasaheb Belvalkar in the famous Marathi play 'Natasamrat' received a lot of appreciation and love from all the quarters. Dr. Shreeram Lagoo played the role of Professor Gopal Krishna Gokhale in 'Gandhi'.
Dr. Shreeram Lagoo was born in Satara district, Maharashtra and attended Bhave High School, Fergusson College (University of Pune) and B.J. Medical College (University of Pune), and received MBBS & MS degrees-both medical degrees.
