Footballer bahu Joyee aka Debadrita Bose is back with another TV serial. Debadrita will be seen playing the grown-up avatar of Alo in the daily soap ‘Alo Chhaya’ and actress Oindrila Bose will play Chhaya.

Debadrita became a household name overnight playing Joyee. Her on-screen chemistry with Dibyojyoti Dutta aka Ribhu was one of the USPs of the daily soap.
Oindrila Bose was seen in ‘Shubho Drishti’, which had Gourab Roy Chowdhury and Aishwarya Sen.
Presently, child artist, Hiya Dey of ‘Potol Kumar Ganwala’ fame is playing Alo. Young actress Smriti Singh is playing Chhaya. Very soon Alo and Chhaya will become adult and Debadrita Basu and Oindrila Bose will make entry.

In TV serial Alo-Chhaya, Bidipta Chakraborty, Kushal Chakraborty, Sudeshna Roy, Sayantani Sengupta, Aritra Dutta and others will be seen. The serial Alo Chhaya narrates the story of two little girls, started scoring well right after launch. Alo has to stay with her aunt Mayitreyee, played by Bidipta after losing her parents. Mayitreee’s daughter Chhaya is a bubbly girl. Initially, Chhaya fails to accept Alo. But the kids become good friends gradually. Alo helps Chhaya to score well in Maths and faces all the odds to save her little sister.
Alo and Chhaya is likely to air at the end of this month.
