Anindita Bose is again working with filmmaker Birsa Dasgupta in his upcoming project Mafia. Mafia is the first web series of Birsa. Last time Anindita worked in Birsa's film is on 2011 and the film was Jaani Dyakha Hawbe. Anindita plays a crucial role in Mafia and currently shooting is going on at a tea estate in Gorumara in North Bengal.

Anindita Bose said “I have worked with Birsada before, almost eight years back in this film called Jaani Dyakha Hawbe (2011). And now once again being able to collaborate with him for this project has been amazing. He is extremely chilled out and handles his actors very sensitively. When you know you’re working with a director who knows his craft you literally have nothing to worry about.”
Mafia will be produced by Parambrata Chatterjee’s production house. The series will have five episodes and will be released in both Hindi and Bengali languages.

The story of Mafia revolves around six friends who become obsessed with the psychological game ‘Mafia’. While traveling in a remote area, the friends take shelter in a house and their mafia game started. They get addicted to the game but after finishing college, they become busy in their professional lives. After 5 years, they are reunited again. They again play the 'mafia' but this time they get involved with the real Mafia game and a murder occurred in the middle of the mafia wheel game.
Beside Anindita it also stars Ishaa Saha, Ridhima Ghosh, Anindita Bose, Madhurima Roy, Ankita Chakraborty and Namit Das.
