Arpita Chatterjee will be seen in a different type of role in film Rifle. The versatile actress will be seen as an IPS officer in Raajhorshee De’s ‘Rifle’. It is learnt that the actress is busy in learning some close combat skills and even boxing to justify the character.

Recently Arpita Chatterjee's performance in Arjunn Dutta’s ‘Abyakto’ was appreciated by filmy critics and she is busy with film Rifle. We know that Arpita Chatterjee is a different kind of actress who can essay any critical role easily.
Arpita Chatterjee said “There is a recent trend of women cops in Indian cinema. I am playing a female cop in this film. I have some really interesting stunts here and so I am training for close combat scenes. Boxing is what I am focusing on. In fact, I have the basic strength as I work out regularly. So, I am all ready for the challenge.”
Film Rifle is a crime thriller revolving around the illegal arms business taking place in the state. Based on Rupak Saha’s unpublished story ‘Khuchro Poysar Jonyo’, the film sheds light on an illegal racket using coins to make arms.
Beside Arpita Chatterjee as an IPS officer, Pujarini Ghosh, Rudranil Ghosh, Kamaleswar Mukherjee, and Babul Supriyo will also play pivotal roles in the film.
