Unnatural death of Tollywood actress Moumita Saha has rocked the industry. Moumita Saha was a rising actress in Tollywood. Moumita Saha was staying at a rented house at Regent Park, Ashok Nahar, Kolkata. The incident occurred on Friday (March 09) at about 09.00 PM

Moumita Saha's original home was at Bandel and she was residing alone at a rented house at Regent Park, Ashok Nahar. From Friday afternoon, Moumita's parents failed to contact her and subsequently they contacted the owner of the house. The landlord tried to contact the actress but there was no response from inside. The landlord broke the door with help of few other local people and found Moumita Saha hanging from the ceiling of her room with her ‘dupatta’. A suicide note was recovered from the flat where the 23 years old actress was staying alone and the note read: " I have failed to become an actress."

Deputy commissioner of police (south suburban division) said the suicide note reflects that she was suffering from mental depression owing to lack of professional success. According to him: “No foul play is suspected prima facie and there has been no complaint so far. The body has been sent for a post mortem and a case of an unnatural death has been initiated.”

Sources in the entertainment world said that Moumita Saha had been trying to get a break in the film industry for some time. Moumita Saha was under depressed and that may be the reason of suicide.
