Nargis Fakhri cast as lead in horror flick Amavas

Actress Anushka Sharma’s horror flick Pari will be released on 2 March. Another Bollywood actress,  Nargis Fakhri playing a lead in a horror film titled, Amavas. The film will be released at the end of this year.

The film Amavas is directed by Bhushan Patel, who has earlier made horror films like 1920: Evil Returns (2012), Ragini MMS 2 (2014) and Alone (2015). Sachiin Joshi is Fakhri's co-star in the film. 


Film Amavas is currently being shot in London. According to an official statement, the film will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule for about 35 days. 

Amavas is the dark phase of the moon when it is not visible. The period is considered inauspicious as per Hindu tradition.
