Mahesh Bhatt Alia Bhatt Soni Razdan receive death threat one arrested in UP

Film director and producer Mahesh Bhatt, wife Soni Razdan and his actor-daughter Alia Bhatt allegedly received death threats from a man in Uttar Pradesh. The man demanded Rs 50 lakh otherwise allegedly threatened to pump bullets into Bhatt’s family members.

The suspect Sandeep Sahu has been arrested from Uttar Pradesh by the state’s special’s task force and Mumbai crime branch.

Mahesh Bhatt was first threatened close to midnight on February 26 through a call to his mobile phone. A case was registered at the Juhu police station on Wednesday.

 Mahesh Bhatt tweeted: "A bolt from the blue in the form of an extortion call & threat to my family was nipped in the bud by the MH & UP police in tandem.Gratitude!"
