Bengali Film 61 No Garpar Lane is a family drama film based on current society and values. Soumitra Chatterjee plays the pivotal role in the film. The film will be released on 17 February 2017.

Story of Bengali Film 61 No Garpar Lane revolves around eight tenants and the owner of a old buiding in Kolkata. The tenants belong to lower middle class of the society and the owner of the house Jagadish Babu is just like their guardian. Jagadish Babu's only daughter Jhinik is married to engineer Supratik and they reside at Chandernagore, near Kolkata.

Supratik thinks that it is better to sell the old house to promoter and that will be profitable. This is the issue of clash between Jagadish Babu and his daughter and son-in-law.
