Actor Soham Chakraborty is Subhashree Ganguly's debut hero in Bengali films and they are once again together in film Amar Apanjon - directed by Raja Chanda. Film Amar Apanjon is the first film from Soham's production house 'Ajashra Entertainments'.

Both Soham Chakraborty and Subhashree Ganguly are in a crucial junction of their filmy career. Subhashree was in a long break during 2014-15 and in this period, actresses like Srabanti Chatterjee, Mimi Chakraborty, Nusrat Jahan and Sayantika Banerjee have become very active actresses in Tollywood film industry. Koel Mallick is back in Tollywood after a short break. Subhashree now needs a big hit at any cost to regain her position in the industry.
