A fresh twist in the death case of actress Jiah Khan. A British forensic expert claims that hanging was staged and the marks on her face and neck indicate it's not a simple case of suicide. Earlier CBI told the Bombay High Court that it had ruled out murder in the case.


Jiah Khan was in love with actor Aditya Pancholi's son, Sooraj. The young actress was found hanged in her Juhu apartment on 03 June 2013. Rabia, mother of Jiah has repeatedly said her daughter could not have committed suicide, and filed a petition for a thorough probe in the High Court, which asked the CBI to take up the case. In December last year, the agency charged Sooraj with abutment to suicide. Unhappy with the probe, Rabia handed over the case to Payne-James of UK-based Forensic Healthcare Services Ltd.
