The most glamorous actress of Tollywood during the 70's in Tollywood Bengali film industry, Mithu Mukhopadhyay was born
on June 19, 1955. Her major works are Marjina
Abdulla (1973), Mouchak (1975), Swayamsiddha (1975), Hotel Snow Fox (1976),
Ashrita (1990) etc. Ashrita was Mithu's home production.
It is learnt that Mithu Mukherjee now resides in Mumbai and her husband is Chandra Barot, director of Mithu Mukherjee's last film Ashrita.
Mithu Mukhopadhyay worked in films only as heroine and she was never seen in character roles. Mithu Mukhopadhyay is totally unknown to present generation Bengali film audiences.
Still so charming! Why doesn't she accept roles!
