Payel Sarkar is in love and this time the Bengali actress is dating director Abir Sengupta. Earlier Payel was in love with another Bengali film director Raj Chakraborty but this is past. Payel and Abir are thinking about their marriage within one or two years.

Payel Sarkar acted in film Jomer Raja Dilo Bor and Abir Sengupta was director of the film. At the end of shooting of the film, Payel realized that she is in love with Abir.

Abir Sengupta lives in Mumbai and Payel Sarkar herself admits that either she goes to Mumbai or Abir comes to Kolkata so that they can spend quality time together. As per Payel, both the families know about their relationship and within a year or two they will tie the knot.
