Shillong girl Andrea
Tariang is a girl from Khasi community and she is the first among that
community to work in a high profile film where Amitabh Bachchan is playing a
pivotal role. Andrea Tariang will work
with Amitabh Bachchan in Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming film Pink which will be released on 16 September
this year.

Who is Andrea Tariang
Andrea Tariang is a 24-year-old
Khasi girl with musical background and no previous acting experience. Andrea
Tariang is the daughter of famous Shillong-based musician Rudy Wallang and like
her father, she also plays the guitar.
Andrea Tariang used to
play in a band called Lavender Groove but since she is now in Mumbai, she’s
been doing a few duo hugs with Karan Joseph.
Andrea Tariang was a
student at Kiddies Corner (KC) in Shillong. In school, she would always take
part in acting and music activities.
Andrea Tariang is
popular as Andii to her friends and family. Andrea Tariang is also a model who’s worked with some of the
best people in the industry like Daniel Syiem, Eddy Lalrempuia and has been
featured in leading magazines like Vogue.
