Overall business of Bengali films in year 2015 is not bad. Rituparna Sengupta and Prosenjit is still dominating the industry while Srabanti Chatterjee and Dev are becoming more matured day by day. Future of Bengali films will depend on them. Churni Ganguly is the new addition to the list of directors who make good movies. Koel Mallick has become very choosy about films and now she is doing limited films. Dev is doing fully commercial as well as good movies but Jeet is yet to venture on critical characters. Ritwick Chakraborty, as usual performed well in the year 2015.
