Famous South Indian actresses, Gopishantha - popularly known as Manorama died on 10 October 2015 due to heart attack in the city of Chennai.
Manorama was 78 and was suffering for some time. Manorama worked in Tamil films, other South Indian language movies and in Hindi. Manorama had worked in 1,000 films in her acting career of nearly six decades. Manorama was famous mainly for her comedy roles in films.
Manorama had won several awards including India's National Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1989.
