Rituparna Sengupta had an amazing experience in the film. The director has squeezed the performance from Ritu. The actress realized the devastating past of our Partition while shooting for the film Rajkahini. The entire team of Rajkahini felt the momentum of freedom fighting. All the actors in film underwent training in gun-training, laathi-wielding sessions, fights and arm wrestling to perform.

Rituparna Sengupta thinks Rajkahini will make a lot of difference to her life and her film career. Ritu hopes that the whole nation would remember a film like Rajkahini, in which history comes alive.
