Paoli Dam is a successful actress in Bengali film industry and like many other Bengali actresses she tried to establish herself in Hindi film industry with film Hate Story. Film Hate Story was based on a revenge story and Paoli played in the role of a bold woman appearing in many intimate bold scenes. Paoli Dam’s performance in the film was appreciated by filmy critics but the film failed to establish Paoli in Bollywood film industry.

This time Paoli Dam is back in Bollywood after a three-year gap and the film is a love story where Paoli plays the role of a prostitute. Paoli Dam is Mallika, a prostitute in her upcoming film Yaara Silly Silly. Paoli has bold dialogues in the film Yaara Silly Silly like “Ae sarkele, time khoti mat kar; chal utaar kapda” etc.

Parambrata Chottopadhyay is playing the lead male role in the film. Paoli Dam is very optimistic about her role in the film. Paoli said: “Though I am playing a prostitute in the film, it is very different than my earlier film ‘Hate Story’. Mallika in ‘Yaara Silly Silly’ is a sex worker and how her life completely changes when she meets a boy. ‘Yaara Silly Silly’ is all about love unlike ‘Hate Story’ which was all about hate and revenge.”
