Recently Bengali actress Payel Sarkar is in hot news – her filmy career, boyfriends, relationship with film directors and producers, relationship with other filmy actresses are now under the scanner.

Payel Sarkar was once known as girlfriend of filmmaker Raj Chakraborty. Payel herself agrees that they had a relationship but now the matter is past. The relationship has broken up.

Payel Sarkar had to pass through tough struggle to establish herself. Payel thinks that due to any unknown reasons she was not getting job even after box office success of her films like Le Chakka, Prem Amar. Payel worked in a hit film of Raj Chakraborty. Initially it was decided that Payel Sarkar will work in film Kathmandu of Raj Chakraborty but finally she was replaced by Srabanti Chatterjee.

 Rumour is that Payel sarkar is always producer’s choice. It is said that producers of film Chotushkone and Lorai wanted Payel in their films. Payel denies such allegations saying that she is close to one of the producers in Bengali films and the producer is like ‘elder brother’ to her. Payel Sarkar  stays alone in Ruchira Residency at E M bypass. Rumour was that during shooting of the film Chotushkone, Payel Sarkar developed a relationship with director of the film Srijit Mukherjee.  List of Payel Sarkar’s upcoming films is not too short. Payel is working in Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s Café Kinara, Film Hemanta of Anjan Dutta, Jamer Raja Dilo Bar with Abir Chatterjee. Payel Sarkar is a die hard fan of Farhan Akhtar.

Payel Sarkar shares a good relationship with Tanusree Chakraborty and Parno Mitra. Payel respects Rituparna Sengupta a lot but her relationship with Srabanti Chatterjee and Subhashree Ganguly is not disclosed by the actress. It seems that she has a professional rivalry with both Srabanti and Subhashree.
