Chatterjee is an assistant director in many serials and now she is
making her debut as director in Bengali films with the movie Jenana – a film based on transgender
community.

Story of the film is based on film
making on transgender within the film. Riya is an aspiring filmmaker, who
assists directors in mega serials. Riya dreams to direct films and finally she
decides to make a film on transgender. The film narrates the fight of Riya to
fullfil her dream of becoming a director and the life of transgender community.
