Rituparna Sengupta is playing a bold character in Sunanda Shyamal Mitra's Hindi film, Extraordinaari. Rituparna recently did a bold photo shoot for the film's poster. The film Extraordinaari will be released on 22 May and the other actors in the film are Shahbaaz Khan, Satyajit Sharma and Jaya Bhattacharya.

Film Extraordinaari based on the modelling industry and the rivalries among the persons involved in modelling industry. Rituparna Sengupta is a grooming expert in the film Extraordinaari, who trains 10 underprivileged girls hailing from various sections of the society, to walk the ramp. Rituparna said "I play a grooming guru, who is very courageous. She fights all odds in the modelling industry. She gets betrayed in the modelling industry and hence decides to groom 10 underprivileged girls such as a rape victim, a maid, a sex worker and a waitress into models."

Director of Extraordinaari said "When I gave her the proposal for a bold photo shoot, she immediately agreed. We became friends during the shooting of the film and she has faith in me. She has done an outstanding job in the film."
