Veteran actor and Trinamool Congress MLA, Chiranjeet Chakraborty will
play the role of a police detective Chandrakanta Sen for Ayan Chakraborty's
debut film, Shororipu.
Chandrakanta Sen is an alcohol addicted. He is efficient but due to his addiction he doesn't get promotion. This addicted detective cracks a couple of murders in the heart of Kolkata. Other actors in the film Shororipu are Rajatava Dutta, Indraneil Sengupta, Sudiptaa Chakraborty, Rudranil Ghosh, Sohana Saba, Rajesh Sharma, Koneenica Banerjee, Sohini Sarkar and others.
