Rajib Biswas was an Assistant Director of Hindi films such as Yugpurush and Ghulam-E-Mustafa in 1998 and 1997 respectively. Rajib Biswas was an assistant editor in Bollywood Hindi films like Hum Kaun Hai (2004), Deewarein (2003), The Melody of Life (2002), Tum Bin (2001), Godmother (1999).

Rajib Biswas was editor of hit Hindi film Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. (2003).

Rajib made his debut as director in Bengali film Amanush in 2010. The other Bengali films of Rajib Biswas as director are Paglu (2011), Bikram Singha -The Lion Is Back (2012), Idiot (2012), Khoka 420 (2013), Majnu (2013), Bindaas (2014), Crime (2014)- Unreleased.

Glamorous actress of Bengali films SrabantiChatterjee acted as leading lady in all the films excepting Paglu, Bikram Singha -The Lion Is Back and Crime. Srabanti Chatterjee married Rajib Biswas at the early stage of her acting career but now they are separated.
