Dia Mirza marries Sahil Sangha

Formar beauty queen and Bollywood actress Dia Mirza ties the knot with Sahil Sangha on 18 October this year. The wedding ceremony was a lavish one and took place  at a farmhouse in Ghitorni. The 32-year-old actress who was engaged to her filmmaker fiance Sahil Sangha in April this year, opted for an intimate Arya Samaj wedding.

Dia Mirza said: "I am very happy. It was a beautiful Arya Samaj ceremony. The vows were explained to us. It was wonderful because it was good to be conscious of what you are going through and what are the vows you are exchanging. It was a dream wedding."

Dia Mirza wore a Ritu Kumar beige and green sharara while Sahil wore a Raghavendra Rathore cream silk linen brocade achkan with an offwhite safa.

Regarding her wedding dress, Dia said: Since, I am not getting married in Hyderabad and being a Hyderabadi I chose this outfit to add some Hyderabadi flavour to my wedding. I feel like a typical Hyderabadi bride." 

The Bollywood celebrities attending the marriage include Sushmita Sen, Mahesh Bhupati, Lara Dutta, Rajkumar Hirani, Zayed Khan, Sophie Choudry and Cyrus Sahukar.

Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha have no honeymoon plans right now as Sahil said: "We will celebrate Diwali with family in Delhi. We will go for honeymoon by the end of this year. We will currently head back to work."
