This is
the news of last Wednesday (29 October) that actress Sana Khan, her boy friend
and a servant were arrested by Amboli police for allegedly assaulting a media
consultant recently. They were released on bail on the same day after being produced
before a court by police.
Sana Khan
suspected that the victim, Poonam Khanna, had leaked information about her
relationship with her boyfriend that landed her in legal trouble. Actually last
week a tabloid published an article on Sana and her boy friend. The article
claimed that in 2013, Sana Khan had allegedly attempted to kidnap a 15-year-old
girl. Sana's cousin was interested in the girl and that’s why Sana tried that
act. Navi Mumbai police had booked Sana in the case and the actress surrendered
before the police and applied for the bail. Sana’s boy friend, Ismail Khan was
her guarantor at that time and bailed her out. News is that Ismail was also
found accused in a cheating case and was arrested few years ago. Sana Khan rescued
Ismail with bail stating that she was his wife.
A senior
police inspector at Amboli police station said: "Sana was upset with the
story and she thought that Khanna was responsible for it. She along with other
two accused misbehaved with Khanna on the day when the story was published."
The
assault case on Poonam Khanna happened on 21 October when she went to a
hospital for treatment. Sana, her boy friend and her servant went there and the
servant dragged Khanna outside of the hospital and they threatened and
misbehaved with Poonam Khanna. Poonam Khanna was discharged from the hospital
on 27 October and afterwards approached the police.
