Actress Rituparna Sengupta recently faced lot of problems
due to several fake profiles in Facebook. The glamourous Bengali actress earlier
filed a complaint with the cyber crime cell of Kolkata Police.
Few days back Rituparna posted on her Facebook page,
'Rituparna Sengupta Official', clarifying: "At present I don't have any
personal profile on Facebook. So, all the profiles flaunting my pictures and
bearing the name 'Rituparna Sengupta' are absolutely fake. They are making
baseless or disgraceful comments on my behalf. I'm in the process of sending an
elaborate report to the cyber crime department of Kolkata Police.
Rituparna Sengupta wrote in her police complaint: "...Recently
I have found out that a fake page 'Rituparna Sengupta' claims to be my official
fan page but actually has been created without my permission. I have no idea
about who are running this page. But the managers of this page are constantly
stealing pictures from my official account and posting them on this fake page.
Moreover, abusive pictures and comments about me have come up on these pages. I
would request you to take the necessary actions against the abuses that I have
face.,"
