Story of the Film Finding Fanny

The film is based on five characters of village Pocolim in Goa. Pocolim is a typical village where pointless conversations are a part of life. People of Pocolim seem to be from other planet.

Old postman Ferdie one day finds a letter that he had written 46 years ago to Stefanie Fernandes with a proposal of marriage between them. Ferdie realized that the letter was not delivered to ‘Fanny’, Stefanie Fernandes. Ferdie used to call his dream girl as Fanny with love. Since the last 46 years, Ferdie used to think that he was rejected by her Fanny.

Ferdie now starts to find out Stefanie Fernandes, his Fanny. Ferdie don’t know where Stefanie Fernandes is. Ferdie has no idea about whether Stefanie Fernandes is alive or dead.

Four other colorful characters from the village join Ferdie in finding Fanny. The four characters are a young virgin widow, a bitter mechanic, a belligerent artist and an obnoxious self-appointed “Lady” of Pocolim. Ultimately the five characters experience various hilarious and moving events that change their lives forever.

Hollywood's golden couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie got married on Saturday morning 23 August 2014 in a secret ceremony in France.

Indian Cricket team’s recent England tour has raised many controversies. Performance of Indian team was hopeless and the man who is the most dependable batmsn right now, Virat Kohli has failed to perform upto the mark. There are many reasons for the bad performance of Indian team but it is assumed that presence of Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma with Indian team during the tour is the main reason for the poor performance of Virat Kohli. Anushka is girlfriend of Virat Kohli and BCCI permitted Anushka to stay in the same hotel during the tour where Virat was staying.

Indian team manager Sunil Dev has expressed his unhappiness over the issue - Anushka Sharma being allowed to accompany Virat Kohli during the tour. According to Dev, it would have been better if permission was not granted to Anushka Sharma to accompany Virat Kohli during the England tour. Dev feels that Indian society doesn’t approve of girlfriends travelling with the players on tour and our players mental set up does not permit it.

BCCI defends them by saying that permission was granted as Virat and Anushka are planning to marry soon. This logic may not be able to stop the issue.

BCCI blames Anushka Sharma for Virat Kohli's poor performance

Indian cricket team’s England tour is going to be a nightmare for Indian cricketers. BCCI has already taken a step by demotion of coach Duncan Fletcher. The next culprit in BCCI’s eye is Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. BCCI finds Anushka for Virat Kohli's batting slump.

In England, Indian cricket team slumped to a humbling 3-1 Test series defeat. Performance in all aspects – fielding, batting and bowling was very poor but BCCI finds only the players’ wives and girlfriends responsible for the defeats.

BCCI has now decided that girlfriends will no longer be allowed on tour and there will also be restrictions on the duration of the wives’ stay.

Box Office Collection of Singham Returns and Kick

Bollywood box office is now busy with Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor starrer Hindi film Singham Returns and Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Kick. Singham Returns has beaten the opening day box office collection record of Salman Khan's Kick and in two days the box office collection of the film has crossed the Rs.50 crore mark, with a total collection of Rs. 53 crore. The prequel film Singham did a business of Rs. 51.25 crore in the first week while the sequel movie Singham Returns is moving fast towards the Rs. 100 crore marks. 

Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez 's Kick is breaking one after another records in box office of Bollywood. Kick is now Bollywood's fourth-highest worldwide grosser at box-office. Kick is just behind 3 Idiots (Rs. 395 crore), Chennai Express (Rs. 422 crore) and Dhoom 3 (Rs.542 crore) in terms of worldwide box-office collection. Domestic box office collection of Kick is over Rs. 230 crore right now and it will grow further.

Salman Khan is the only Bollywood actor who has seven Rs. 100 crore movies to his credit and the films are Ek Tha Tiger, Dabangg 2, Bodyguard, Dabangg, Ready, and Jai Ho. The latest addition to the list is Kick.

Director of Kick, Sajid Nadiadwala has become the first director whose first movie’s box office collection is more than Rs.200 crore.
