Few of our Bollywood actresses, specially B
grade actresses always try to remain in news by hook or by croock. Rakhi Sawant
is one of such actresses.
Rakhi formed a new political party Rashtriya
Aam Party (RAP) just before the Lok Sabha Election 2014 and contested from Mumbai
North-West constituency. Rakhi managed 1,995 votes and in true sense it a great
achievement for Rakhi Sawant that 1,995 voters want to see her as MP! Rakhi
contested against Gajanan Chandrakant Kirtikar of Shiv Sena, Gurudas Kamat of
Congress and Mayank Ramesh Gandhi of Aam Aadmi Party.
Now Rakhi Sawant has resigned from her own
party and wants to join the BJP. In an interview Rakhi said that BJP offered
her the seat of Sreerampore in West Bengal. God knows whether it is true or
false. There was a BJP wave in the country and there was no shortage of
candidates to contest in BJP tickets. Rakhi further expressed her desire to quit
film industry and serve the country. Actually there sre so many young item
girls in Bollywood that Rakhi is passing through bad patch of her filmy career.
Very soon we can expect such gimmicks from Poonam Pandey and Sherlyn Chopra.
