Anwesha is the daughter of Bengali actress SwastikaMukherjee. Recently they have worked as Doyel Mitra and Tushu in Mainak Bhaumik's Take One.

Anwesha and Swastika Mukherjee’s work in the film is praised by filmy critics although till now Anwesha has no intension to become an actress. Another recent film of Swastika Mukherjee Jaatishwar bagged four National Awards. Jaatishwar is directed by Srijit Mukherjee. Swastika – Srijit romantic relationship was hot news in Tollywood few days before also but now they are not in good terms. Swastika’s daughter Anwesha is aware of all this relationship. Previously Swastika had a romantic relationship with Parambrata Chottopadhyay. The mother and daughter are more like friends and less like mother and daughter.  Swastika and Anwesha are so close to each other that they watch together films like Akira Kurosawa films or an American television drama series.
