Suchitra Sen is still not out of danger. Suchitra Sen is under treatment in the
critical care unit (CCU) of a nursing home here, was put under non-invasive
ventilator support after her condition deteriorated and breathing problem
worsened on 3 January 2014.
Doctor said that Suchitra Sen's oxygen saturation dipped and she needed ventilator
support and the decision was taken in consultation with her daughter Moon Moon
Sen.
Suchitra Sen is undergoing treatment for a chest infection at the nursing home since 23 December and she taken to the CCU on 29 December after her condition deteriorated and the heartbeat became irregular. Doctor said that her urine output is normal and other vital parameters are somewhat normal in accordance with her age.
