Srabanti Chatterjee is known as glamorous actress in Bengali
films who mainly acts in romantic films. Before Goynar Baksho, Srabanti
Chatterjee normally worked in pure commercial films. The situation has changed
now. Srabanti Chatterjee acted in Aparna Sen’s movie, Goynar Baksho and at that
time Rituparno Ghosh told Srabanti that she will be casted in any future film
of the great filmmaker. The untimely death of Rituparno has closed the chapter.
Recently Srabanti Chatterjee is working in film Majnu and Buno Haansh and
the roles are going to be important milestones of her filmy career.
