Story of the film Tin Patti is based on suspense and thrill. Siddharth Basu is a crime branch officer in Kolkata police. He is investigating the death of Mukul Chakraborty. Forensic report says that it is case of heart attack. Gargi Sen and another woman met Mukul at night of that day when Mukul died. Gargi was business rival of Mukul Chakraborty. Mukul and Arya are partner in real estate business. Mohor is an arthitech and joins the company of Arya and Mukul. Arya falls in love with Mohor. Arya and Mohor get married and they three decided a tour but at the last moment Arya could not go due to an urgent business work. Mukul and Mohor went for the tour.
