Bengali actress Koel Mallick and her recent stunts

Bengali actress Koel Mallick is known as a romantic actress – at least this was her image to the Bengali film audiences before the release of Rongbaaz. Koel Mallick has broken her image of bubbly heroine in her latest released film Rongbaaz. Rongbaaz is the first film of Koel after her marriage. Koel Mallick has done number of stunts and action sequences in the film Rongbaaz under the direction of fight master Alan Amin.

Koel Mallick was seen to hang from the 34th floor of a building in the film Rongbaaz. Rongbaaz is a film of Nishpal Singh Rane, husband of Koel Mallick. The unit insisted Koel to use a dummy for the scene but Koel was ready to do the scene herself. During the shooting of stunt scenes, Koel Mallick had an accident that resulted in seven stitches on her leg. 

Koel Mallick is the first top class Bengali heroine to do stunts and action sequences in a film.
