Bengali singer Srikanta Acharya will make his debut as actor in Bengali film

Srikanta Acharya is a famous singer of Bengali songs in recent times. Now the singer will be seen as an actor in director Suman Ghosh's upcoming film Kadambari. Leading actors in the film Kadambari are Konkona Sen Sharma and Parambrata Chatterjee.

Srikanta Acharya will play the role of Satyendranath Tagore in the film Kadambari. Initially Srikanta was not interested to be a part of the film as an actor but the director of the film insisted Srikanta to play the pivotal role of the film Kadambari.

Shooting of the film will start from October this year.
