Satyajit
Ray's classic film Sonar Kella may be remake in Hindi and filmmaker Shoojit
Sarkar is planning for it. Shoojit Sarkar is thinking of casting Mr
Perfectionist Aamir Khan in the role of Feluda.
Feluda
series films are very popular in West Bengal. Satyajit Ray made number of
Bengali films on Feluda and now his son Sandip Ray is also making films on
Feluda. In Satyajit Ray’s films on Feluda, Soumitra Chatterjee played the role
of Feluda and another Bengali actor Sabyasachi Chakraborty was Feluda in Sandip
Ray’s films. Abir Chatterjee has replaced Sabyasachi as Feluda from next film
of Sandip Ray. Actually Sabyasachi Chakraborty himself thought that his present
age is not suitable for Feluda.
If
Shoojit Sarkar’s planning is materialized, Indian cinema will get another Feluda.
