The latest news about
the upcoming film of Aniruddha Roy – Buno Haansh is that so called commercial
film actors
Dev and Srabanti Chatterjee are casted in the film. Aniruddha Roy is
known as a filmmaker of different type of films.

Initially Koel Mallick
was in the thought of the filmmaker but the actress said that she has date
problems. From that time the name of Srabanti Chatterjee was in the air.
Dev is a through
commercial Bengali film hero – found romancing and dancing with heroine in his
films. There was always a question mark about acting career of Dev that when he
will do films to prove his acting power. Recently Dev is working in a Bengali
film Chander Pahaar which is different from other films of Dev. Dev will be
seen in different type of role in the film of Aniruddha Roy which is based on
the novel Buno Haansh written by Samaresh Mazumdar.
The same can be said
about Srabanti Chatterjee. The commercial glamorous actress, Srabanti has recently worked
with Aparna Sen in her film Goynar
Baksho. Srabanti is in the role of a reported in another serious film Kanamachhi. We have to wait and watch
whether Bengali film industry get another Prasenjit and Rituparna from Dev and
Srabanti. Prasenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta are successful in both
commercial glamorous roles as well as in serious type of roles.
The
film will go on floors from July this year.
