Mainak
Bhowmick is a busy director in Bengali films of recent time. The young director
has already created his own platform in Tollywood with films like Machh Mishti
& More andAmi Aar Amaar Girlfriends. Mainak Bhowmick is now planning a film
based on Sirshendu Mukhopadhyay's novel Dwicharini.

The
story of Dwicharini revolves around a young girl whose father is a priest in a
zamindar's house. In the same zamindar's
house, a poor boy stays. There is nothing special between the boy and the girl
– at least no such indications are seen. A boy who has got a job in abroad
wants to marry the priest’s daughter. Suddenly the girl realized that she has special
feelings for the poor boy who also stays in the zamindar’s house.
