Two strong actresses of Bengali films - RituparnaSengupta and Parno Mitra will be seen together in next film of Raja Sen. The
movie Khancha is based on a novel – Jibon Boro Begobaan. The novel is written by
great Bengali novelist Prafulla Roy. The other actors and actresses in film
Khancha are Ferdous, Ritwick Chakraborty and many others.
Story of the Bengali film Khancha
Novelist Prafulla Roy always deals with current social
issues. Bengali film Khancha is a women centric film and the film deals with
single women in our society. Rituparna Sengupta plays the role of a working
woman who works in a corporate house. As per our society, Rituparna is as an
executive in her professional life but according to our society the main
identity is that Rituparna is a divorcee. Rituparna lives in a posh apartment in Park
Street but she always feels insecurity as she is single.
Parno Mitra plays the role of a village girl living in
Basirhat border with her uncle. The uncle takes advantage of the single woman.
Rituparna and Parno are from different level of life but
both of them are same in one respect – both are single and so face the same
problems.
Shooting of the film Khancha will start in June of this
year.
