Professor Robert Edwards died on 10 April 2013

Professor Robert Edwards - the man behind the birth of the first test tube baby Louise Brown in 1978 died on 10 April 2013. Family of Professor Robert Edwards announced that Nobel prizewinner, scientist and co-pioneer of IVF, passed away after a long illness.

This is to be noted that Professor Robert Edwards won Nobel prize in medicine on 10 April 2010.
