So far Malayalam actress Mallika has worked in supporting roles only. It seems that good time of Mallika is coming. Malayalam actress Mallika will act in two Malayalam films as the leading actress. Mallika will be paired opposite Jayaram in Shaji Kailas' Ginger and she will also act in Sangeeth Sivan's women-centric movie as the leading actress. In the second film, Mallika will be paired with Dhwani.
Mallika has acted in Malayalam and Kannada films but all most all the roles are supporting roles. Mallika is branded as a supporting actress and now she wants to change her image. Mallika said that she is getting many offers in supporting roles but she has become choosy about her roles. Mallika now wants more roles as leading actress.
