Dr. Swaroop Sampat is an actress – both in Hindi films and TV serials, former Miss India 1979 and academic personality. Swaroop Sampat was born in 1958 and worked in many family drama Hindi films. Swaroop Sampat won Miss India contest in 1979 and in the same year she represented India at Miss Universe contest.

Swaroop Sampat is married to versatile actor Paresh Rawal and they have two sons.

Swaroop Sampat obtained her Ph.D from University of Worcester in England. Swaroop Sampat is now a days engaged in many social works like teaching. Swaroop Sampat teaches trainers as well as children.

Swaroop Sampat was seen in film Ek Tha Tiger after a gap of 10 years. Before Ek Tha Tiger, her last film was Saathiya in 2002.
