Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was conferred the
honour of 'Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters' by French government for
her contribution to the arts. The award was conferred on the occasion of her
birthday by Francois Richier,
ambassador of France to India.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan thanked French government for awarding
her with such a prestigious award. Aishwarya
thanked her family members also for their support. Aishwarya thanked her colleagues
also for their support and motivation towards her work in film industry.
All the members of Bachchan family, including Aradhaya and except Jaya Bachchan were present at the event.
