Bengali film audiences love romantic love films and this is again proved with the box office business done by Paglu, the recent released Bengali film
Romantic love film Paglu has been released on 3 June 2011 and by 13 June 2011, gross collection of Paglu has crossed 5 crores, the total expenses in producing the film. The Dev and Koel Mallick starer film is expected to do business in the same pace for yet another 50 days. The film is a super entertainer with well packaged songs, drama and action.
The box office business of Paglu has encouraged both director and producer of this film and they are thinking of making sequel of Paglu, may be Paglu 2. Although the thought of sequel of Paglu is in a nascent stage, it is confirmed that Dev and Koel will act in the next film of the same producer.
Chemistry of Dev and Koel Mallick has matched nicely in Paglu and in future this pair is going to present lots of romantic Bengali films to the audiences. Dev is gradually maturing to take the responsibility of Bengali films. He has a long way to go and future will tell whether he will be another Prosenjit of Bengal film industry who worked in all type of Bengali films starting from romantic films to serious films.
