Lata Mangeshkar’s songs in
Yash Chopra films is a phenomenon. Since 1973, Lata Mangeshkar has lended her
voice in every films of Yash Chopra but this time it seems that there would be
an exception. In the new project of Yash Chopra, Lata Mangeshkar’s name is not
considered. Yash Chopra wants Lata Mangeshkar to sing in the film but his son
Aditya Chopra and other members feels that Lataji’s voice will not suit in
Katrina Kaif’s lips. Music director of the film is A.R.Rahman and lyricist Gulzar want Lata Mangeshkar to sing in
the film but Aditya Chopra and his team want other female singer to sing for
Katrina.
