Barfi vs Heroine – win for the brother Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Barfi and Kareena Kapoor starrer Heroine released in the same month. Cinema audiences were waiting eagerly to witness the battle between two cousins, Ranbir and Kareena in the box office. Hindi film Barfi released on 14 September and Heroine released on 21 September 2012. Box office report says that Barfi is miles ahead of Heroine so far as box office collection and audience reports are concerned.

Ranbir Kapoor has acted as a mute and deaf boy in the film Barfi and Barfi is a love story of the mute and deaf boy. Public have accepted Ranbir Kapoor in that role and filmy critics praised Ranbir’s performance in that critical role.

In Heroine, Kareena Kapoor is a glamorous girl  but simplicity of Ranbir in Barfi has beaten Kareena, cousine sister of Ranbir Kapoor.

In the international market also, Barfi is far ahead of Heroine in terms of box office collection.
