Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee personally requested megastar Amitabh
Bachchan to inaugurate the 18th edition of Kolkata International Film Festival and Amitabh has confirmed that
he will inaugurate the film festival which will be on 10 November 2012. Last year, Shah Rukh Khan and Sharmila Tagore
inaugurated 17th Kolkata International Film Festival at Netaji
Indoor stadium.
