Kareena Kapoor will retain her pre marriage religion after marriage with Saif Ali Khan

It is learnt that Kareena Kapoor will not convert to Islam after her narriage with Saif Ali Khan on 16 October 2012. Saif Ali Khan has full support on Kareena’s decision and feels that Kareena should retain her pre marriage religion.

This is to be noted that Kareena is from a Punjabi Hindu family and her mother Babita was Catholic before marriage. On the other hand, Saif’s mother Sharmila Tagore is from a Brahma family and after her marriage with Mansoor Ali Khan, she was converted to Islam with new name Ayesha Begum.
